Hi, I'm Gio, a game designer with a strong interest in systems design as well as ludic storytelling.

I also have a passion for writing, language and media studies. I'm co-founder of secret industries where I do game design and writing for the mystery game Fey: Distant Daydream. Click our cute logo on the side to learn more.

I hold a MA Degree in Digital Games with a focus on Game Design from the Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
My research interests include games, culture and spaces and their intersections.

About me

I'm Giovanni, a game designer from Germany.

I have very broad interests beyond games, including writing, travelling, history and translation. I love learning about new ideas and concepts. Coupled with that, I've developed a pretty broad skillset:

  • Writing and JP-EN Translation
  • Scripting and Source Control
  • Unity and Unreal Engine

I can also speak German, English, Russian and Japanese!

Commercial Project

Fey: Distant Daydream

A mysterious and whimsical detective game about memories, loss and appraisal. Filled with beautiful Retro 3D graphics and intricate puzzles.
